The Japanese Martial Arts Center is located at 771 Airport Boulevard, Suite 1B, in Ann Arbor, about one-mile south of Briarwood Mall. JMAC calls itself =the premier traditional dojo in Ann Arbor= and offers classes in Judo for kids and adults, as well as traditional Jujutsu and Japanese swordsmanship (pictured above).
The facility is beautiful, and a real surprise for those who drive up to the industrial entrance behind building 771. The director, Nicklaus Suino, is an Ann Arbor native who traveled the world, triumphed, and became famous among martial arts insiders. For the cognoscenti, there is no other choice among martial arts instructors in Ann Arbor.

Monsters!

Their website says that Network Services Group, LLC, specializes in helping companies with their computer and network needs. But behind this bland assertion is a terrifically hip company that seems to be behind many of the webbiest business in Ann Arbor.
Don Prior, proprietor of NSG, is the Master Cylinder (look out, Felix!) of the quiet and powerful company, but behind the flat screens at their new headquarters off Eisenhower Parkway lurk a half dozen brilliant, quirky geeks with customer service on their minds. =If you aint with NSG-says one loyal patron-you can get out my face.=

Friends, the hippest law office in Ann Arbor is at 214 N. Fourth Avenue, above Cafe Verde. Despite sporting one of most uptight web sites in the business, Lorandos and Associates manages to occupy physical space with enough grace to make even the least litigation-prone among us think about strapping on a copy of Blacks Law Dictionary.
The brains and personality behind this juridical tour de force is none other than Demosthenes Lorandos, clinical psychologist, white collar lawyer and martial arts expert. Stop by the Lorandos office if you want to see just how groovy the practice of law can be. Peace!

Oxford Company is the real estate juggernaut that may someday manage every inch of high-end office space in greater Ann Arbor. Rumored to be ninja-deep in the negotiations for the landmark 777 building (at Eisenhower and State), Oxford may emerge from the (its not a recession) even bigger than a MONSTER.
